The story behind it is that. Years ago Lee Guan Yew came suzhou to invest,then the fengshui master told him to place this merlion at this position to acheive success.
The position, is across 經貿大廈.the view is that,the merlion is staring the building.
Although merlion is always staring fiercely at building,but building always try to act friendly with merlion. Hyprocrite!
